Re:
Well we all have that little sad feeling I guess FS. Even if we were on a desert island some little maiden in a grass skirt would evoke the same emotion and for the ladies a warrior with a bone through his nose.

We find ourselves having many things we would like to change when we look into the past. One can feel the sadness.

Re: Kabu
You are lucky then, I would love to be young again and dig half an acre of ground over without thinking of hormones.

How well you describe Nature's trickery, the double temptations of
attraction and the urge to flee. In our writing group one of the women spoke on this very subject, how we are pulled by powerful hormones into procreation mode, and thus blinded, we see only what we want to behold in the object of our momentary attention. As I read these two poems I kept thinking, "wait a minute, wait a munute."
