I visited Taiwan years ago. I wandered into a market and became the greatest show on earth. Back then, away from the International Hotels, so many people had never seen a white woman. Oh well.
And to answer you query on my blog love. yes I fly straight to Vancouver...about 5 hrs. One can go to Toronto or through the States but adding time all the way no thanks. it is a three hour stop over in Vancouver which is long enough to do a bit of duty free shop and to take a decent bathroom break and to walk as far as I can. Then 15 hrs to Sydney my destination. I breeze through customs etc because i hardly take anything with me. have my travelling wordrobe down to a few items usually dumped into the trash on the way back and new to come home with. never take gifts.
