Have you ever seen Laugh in? That's one of the first things she was on. The show started a year before I was born. Ron & I have been watching it through Amazon. He's 15 years my senior, so, saw it when it was first on. Though, only in b & w.

she is wonderful I just watched on the BBC her life. Wonder if you did too. And who on earth would play me...again like you I feel daunted at the thought of anyone wanting to play Lil' old me...but maybe Sally Fields. Maybe she could if we were both younger when I had reached this point.

I really like Katherine H. also. Her acting is phenomenal. Meryl Streep can portray just about anyone, so she coud probably be a safe choice. But in reality (Reality! Hah! What am I thinking!!!), and I've answered this before, Goldie Hawn might be the one.
