Re: C_D

No, he rented from an old widow lady who wouldn't renew his lease because she wants to have the house worked on, fixed up for selling it.  Son wouldn't do that to an old lady.  He will get it taken care of someway.  He told me not to worry, so I'm trying to forget about it.  I just thought it was a dirty trick.

Some folk just don't get it, Why didn't he get a couple of skips and bung everything in.

not antagonize  a good neighbor

Sometimes metal is not worth a bean but here at the moment it seems to have increased in value as scrap merchants will pick most metal up,not fridges . If one were to stand a cooker outside it would be gone in hours. My brother had an old metal bath the scrappy came and smashed it up and was very pleased.

that is really terrible unbelievably nasty and uncaring. saw that no one was around and behaved disgracefully. and yes PD is one of my hero's as I always say, and he does not deserve this treatment.

That's terrible a neighbor would leave his junk there like that. It is amazing all of the inconsiderate people there are in the world.

I imagine he doesn't want to be bothered to hunt down the neighbor and send him the bill for removal but, man, I would be soooo angry if someone did that to me!

How disgusting that neighbor was to do that! I'm sorry about that. Here once or twice a year one can order a large trash bin for free and fill it and the trash company will take it away for free. However, this sounds like a lot of work for your son. Every time I leave the house, I have to avoid hitting a large storage pod left in the driveway of the weird neighbor who moved out.

Well, ain't that a fine kettle o' fish...

There's a company in this area called "Got Junk?" that will haul stuff away. Don't know if they're in the KC area, or if they charge for the service or just take jobs on which they can make money recycling the stuff. The only word that comes to mind as a response to finding that mess is "Bummer!"  but your mom's saying is better.
