As an Australian ...this is more about money coming into Australia than anything else. South African Jewish people flooded into Sydney and bought all the best of everything with the millions and millions of dollars they brought with them. They built a great huge Jewish school (my son taught pwecussion there for some years ) said they really were Princesses and Princes. This magnaminous gesture is more about money than saving humanity. Sorry dear, but Australia is not very good on human rights. We still have the shame of the White Australia policy in our fairly recent history.
