Since I'm in my second childhood...I haven't made up my mind yet......

Jack of All Trades

I refer to myself as, Jill of all trades, Mistress of none. That has to do with me being inquisitive by nature & loving to learn about & understand, pretty much, everything. I have diverse interests, but, am not that well versed in too many subjects.

You said you had no idea about what you wanted to be when you grew up. You were just worried about what was happening. I checked your profile, but, you didn't have a birthdate showing. So, I apologize if I'm making you older than you are. Was this due to WWII? Or perhaps the 60's? I was born in Dec 68. I missed out on the protests, marches, changes, etc. Of course, there's a lot of that now. Much of it having to do with the same issues.

I wanted to be me

sounds weird i know but i spent so many years of my life pleasing other people, afraid that they wouldn't like me. it was a long journey with so many mistakes along the way, but now I am truly happy. I am me!!! and i also discovered that if someone who I used to know doesn't like me...it doesn't matter.

From the time I can remember, I wanted to be a nurse.  When I was little, I wanted to be a nurse in a pediatric ward.  I knew all about those as I spent six weeks in one when I was six.  Later I decided that I wanted to be an Army Nurse and take care of our wounded soldiers but I never made it there.  I finally made nurse when I was 50 after I raised my family and took care of my old Mom and Alzheimers Dad.  I worked for 17 years in a health care and rehabilitation center for mostly geriatric care and accident cases.  Now I am the age most of them were then.
