I always had a lot of respect of bg, i do not know what he did with the millions that must have been made but he stayed in the house he started out in, not opting for a mansion, and he never wore flashy clothing or jewelry like other preachers have taken to.  Maybe he was too good to his children and they did not turn out so well, but that is their choice and was not their fathers.

Billy Graham had nothing to do with me. I recognize him as a fellow Christian. However, I'm of another Christian tradition. I believe it relies on God more than, putting a date on it myself for salvation. After all, Southern Baptists and Reformed evangelicals have backsliders as well sir. Believe.

Re: Even the Washington Post can make a mistake.

Sadly most people read the headlines and the first paragraph or two.......the Drugs, booze, etc was done by the kids.....but the story made you think it was Rev. Graham was involved.....

Even the Washington Post can make a mistake.

I do think the news papers and networks could be better at following the old adage "never speak ill of the dead." It's just not cool. Billy Graham will always be remembered - at least by myself - an a fabulous speaker whose faith and charisma brought comfort to millions and made him a good living to boot.
