That's a great informative answer. I was thinking of compost and using leaves as a winter mulch that breaks down into humus. However I raked that section up to the second plant pot table early this morning sir. You know, the car of the man next door was in his "former" driveway this morning. Frilly the Squirrel lives in the house at this time. I wish the developers would leave his old trees the leaves blown over notwithstanding.

My leaves stay in my yard until I rake them. Everyone gets along so no big deal.

I would like leaves to fall as long as the were not Walnut leaves as they are not a good choice for compost.
