Seems obvious to me..... the Russians help those candidates they think will destabilize or weaken America (Hillary, Sanders, Obama), and they attack those candidates who they think will stabilize or strengthen America (Trump). They were right, and I am glad they failed in their attempts. Now, we just need to hold the right person accountable for being pro-Russian and taking lots of Russian money, and for lying about almost everything (yes, Hillary).

Not sure I'm in accord with your conclusion - but this post is very
useful - and a bit of an eye-opener. Hadn't thought of Bernie as being a disruptor, but of course he's not marching in step with either party, so... I thought the Russians simply didn't like Hillary and were working against her for reasons of their own, but you've made a couple of cogent points here.
