Yes in an ideal world we would be able to cure little rents and accidents merely by calling on a certain faction in the brain. Sadly I think unfortunately most is taken up with reproduction.

Some days I find all this quantum stuff so fascinating.  And then, there are other days I need something simple to keep my mind from wandering while I read.  I never know what tomorrow will bring in the way I think and what I find interesting.

Pat - Oh, Pat, how I loved this post...

I'm just fascinated by quantum thoughts and theories (and facts). I believe I have a YouTube video somewhere of a microtubule and something being transported; a substance (a protein?) that is converted into, or is, energy. It's hysterically funny because it looks like a person with legs, walking, yet is microscopic. How fascinating that article must be!

The brain is an incredibly fascinating organ. I am curious to see how the theories hold up over time.

I am really interested in this because the brain as I learned about it in Nusting education doesn't make enough sense. It may on primitive levels of survival but thinking something through...I mean sometimes I look at Mr Graysome the cat and it is like a light goes on in his eyes and he goes off and gets a toy or thinks through how to gain my attention bt teasing Wiley, There has to be more going on in a brain than electrical impulses.
