Well I don't know if this feels as comfortable. A lady told me at the start of winter, when there were children mother used to smear goose fat all over their chest and back and pulled on a thick vest.It was not removed until spring. Very nice on roast potatoes.

I've thought about this before, seeing pictures of my ancestors, and there's no way I could have dressed like that in the heat. I'd have broken the rules or have been a barefoot recluse!

even worse dear friend was that they came to Australia where it is now Summer, but they had always put their warm underclothes on during the Northern Fall southern spring and wore them all through summer...well I am sure eventually they woke up to how ridiculous it was.
