As the young people say these days, NO WORRIES...... although I really should tell them I was not worried about it in the first place..... but they would not understand and would probably take offense........ Cheers

I didn't take offense at your post, it was more as you said, it struck a nerve that should have even been reached, but due to other things going on in my life that I don't talk about here, I've found myself in an unusual place. My original comment was intended to be about twelve words, but things dwelling deep inside me took over and boiled out. I may or may not write about these other things soon, it depends on how I end up dealing with them. Please don't take offense at my post. Consider it like I hung up some laundry of my mind that just happened to be triggered by something else.

I thought it went without saying, that I liked the Jim Carrey quote and agree with it, enough to comment about it. But I wanted to point out that he is not living up to it. No harm, no foul. Sorry I touched a nerve for you.
People should say what they mean, mean what they say, and act in accordance with what they mean and say. Otherwise they are hyprocrites, and we need to be aware of that. Especially these celebrities, who get on their high horse and think they can preach to the rest of us, without doing what they tell us to do. That is the danger of a single quote from a person, although I love good quotes and use them myself. I would not mind if someone pointed out the faults of the person who originated the saying.
I am enjoying your recent writing a great deal, and I hope you enjoy mine. Cheers
