Toads are a bit cold One could see one on a stone at the bottom of my Grann's well.
She drew a bucket of water now and again for washing clothes, I expect it was used normally until piped water was available, don't know what the toad lived on.

OH! dear RP. I have mislead you into thinking this little creature is like that portrayed by someone we know extremely well. No I should have explained this is actually a dear little fairy type creature. I really should have explained, but to be brief she is what we call in the sticks a Branded Fairy. Well that's what she told me when I asked.
