We do need our sleep, and when it's interrupted we just don't feel the same as if we had slept the entire night. Would the meds for overactive bladder help at all?

bladder operations have a big fail against them or they used to...and it is normal as we get older to nap mpre rather than have those wonderful 8 straight hours. All those years of working when one dreamed of enough time to sleep and i am likely to wake at 3,00am and get up on the computer for a couple of hours.

For me, it's waking up hungry, very hungry about 3 hours after I fell asleep. Or it is about not being able to fall asleep. Sometimes the brain won't settle, and only reading can lull it to distraction and let sleep creep in.
I always figure my brain is about topped off, and there is no more room for new stuff.

I never thought about there being a correlation between sleep and memory. It is fascinating what science can find.
