Do I see Mr. G. in one or more of those picts, lol!

I had friends who hung a sort of decorated tree upside down from the ceiling to drive their kitties batty, haha. They tried climbing the walls to get to it but no go.

The Christmas before Phil learned to walk, he would roll under the Christmas tree, put his feet against the trunk and push it over and then laugh.  He did that three times before we figured out a way to keep him from it.

It's not easy for me to manage a 6' tree, especially a real one that

dries out or needs watering, etc., so I set up this 36" one on top of a bookcase. All the lights and cheer, not so much to pack away after New Year's day. It's just me, but I did once have a puddy tat who thought our family tree was hers, so all the ornaments on the lower branches were non-breakable, and we weighted it with concrete blocks.

Kabu

We have had cats who thought the trees were new toys just for them! And we have had doggies who thought the ornaments were new crew toys! Therefore, we did have to restrict the pets from the area where the tree was located back in those days. Love Maxine, darling!

Well I am more soft hearted I don't like to see the tree thrown out and I used to plant mine afterwards but they grow too tall. Also they scream when they are turfed out. Just like a cat.

Ahh yes. I have a two year old black something or other dog that weighs in at 115 pounds who still thinks he is a puppy. He loves to watch the lights blink and I think he expects the squirrel that harasses him in the backyard to come poking out of the tree.
