Re: FS

Thank you FS. suddenly it is very cold here, our by-roads never seem to get treated with salt. A lot of drivers have no experience and just park and wait for the ice to melt.

Re: Re: CCT

I am sorry to hear that RP. You do seem to have been through the mill recently. I find sitting to long makes the feet inclined to swell slightly. I saw on Amazon a cushion that a pilot designed one presses one side and then the other it is supposed to benefit the feet when one is sitting it is quite inexpensive, but it needs a strong man to blow it up.

Uncle Albert has not lost a step in his old age. I like the optimism at the end of the second poem.

Re Pat

A change and are forgotten Pat folk used to collect the horse brasses that were used as ornaments on the horses equipment. My brother as some quite nice ones hanging down the side of the fireplace. Of course most were brass and not many want to polish things these days.

Re: Kabu

Of course it took longer to grow up in the past. Now it only seems ten minutes;

So much character of little boys in your Uncle Albert story...

One of your plus factors: the old days of horses and carts become so relatable, almost like we've been there.  Thank you.

Old Uncle A is always fun. And such a cute poem about the horse and knight.

to think of Uncle Albert as a little tyke is nearly beyond my imagination so I will think of him like my Dad was...a bit of mischief ...last of a family of seven.
