Re: Aba Brother

Ah, but there is much treachery in this world... But also good.

Without consent, to be doing so is akin to treachery, because they are being released to condict researches on DNA at certain costs, which no moral society would accept.

Re: Kabu

I have no problem with it either, especially if used for good. And I imagine most DNA testing companies also do this. Thank you, sweet lady.

maybe the swabs people send off to find their ancestry are also used. i actually have no problem with keeping DNA if it will at some time help in solving problems of crime, health, cures, vaccines....stuff like that.

That is something and definitely uncomfortable. It reminds me of that woman who unknowingly gave DNA samples while she was dying from cancer. The understanding of those cells has allowed for major scientific revolutions (i.e. the polio vaccine) but certainly, she and her family were exploited for profit.

Wonder why they'd go to the expense to do this? It's got to cost $$ to keep track of all the records, manage the files, etc.

Re: CCT

Brilliant! Yes, it could do that, most certainly! Like many things, it can be used for good and bad. The main thing is, to me, if someone wants one's DNA badly enough, they will and can, get it. There goes all the family secrets...

Probably a good thing we do not know about a lot of things.I suppose, I don't know but would it be to enable criminals to be revealed in later life?
