Uncle Albert's insights are spot on! You get so much into those few lines.
When I was six I asked Mama if I was pretty. She said "just smile, and nobody will know the difference." So I grew up thinking I was anything but. Many years later I asked her why and she said she didn't want her children to be vain. It worked.
