Re: FSI
I think he got enough cold yesterday. Today he has long pants and a parka for lying in the hammock.

It always seems like there is that one person who does not dress according to the weather.

I suppose he is doing no harm, but it makes us uns shiver. I suppose photos are a bit daring.

The eccentric gentleman on the other hand must be watching you near the furnace and you know what he might be thinking of you, ha ha, ma'am TAPS.

For decades, I had this ritual where I would wear cut offs and a short sleeve shirt until December 1st. I called it my annual "In Defiance of Winter" ritual. I'm not sure if I just got too old or it got too cold, but I decided I needed to wear pants in late October.

He ranks right up there with many neighbors I've had. LOL! Perhaps he used to live in my area... Definitely not within my grasp of normalcy.

You may be a bit eccentric - I only say that because you're a writer
and being eccentric is a given for us - but he is far beyond that. He must know he's being observed by neighbors, and has opted to become a performance artist. I do hope he manages to avoid frostbite.
