Aba Maybe it is also time. Suppose romance is like so many marbles. If one was restricted by travel or distance. It would be much easier for two suitable marbles to touch in passing. So one had a limited decision . Usually it turned out better because aspirations were possibly preconceived. It does not appear to be so today. Interesting though.

As TAPS says, the mystery of it all cannot be analyzed. Chance leads to Destiny, I think, or call it the effect of past karma, and that makes it all predestined. Thank you for appreciating and hope I'll be fine and carry through with my eyes as God wills.

What is it that causes that spark? I don't know. Chance, is she an illusion disguised as being pre-destined, or is destiny pre-determined to appear as Chance? Is the cycle never-ending? Excellent post, dear brother Aba. I do hope your eyes are doing well.

Romance is a space between two people, it seems to me, where they allow no intrusion, feel safe and hidden from the rest of the busy world... Maybe brain chemistry has something to do with it, when something triggers it--maybe, as your Polish poet suggests, many little events never consciously noticed add up to the tipping point...
