I loved the clowns in the circus in Australia as a kid I suppose the most.

I was a huge fan of Red Skelton and Johnny Carson. Letterman and the current crew of late night shock jocks don't hold a candle to Carson. When I lived in Sebring, Florida, I would visit the 'clown school' that was in Lake Placid, about 18 miles south of me. I never understood the inherent fear some people have about clowns, but then again, I don't like people standing behind me while I write.
