Re: FSI

Yes, I did, and she was about ready to give birth to my brother so she sure didn't need it!

Re: C_C_T

Yep, kids will be inquisitive. You're right about the sausage making machine.

Re: Pat, OMG, then you know what it's like!

You are the only other person in the world I know of who had that happen to them! Lucky you weren't hurt badly. Yes, I was lucky. I like the new washers also, especially after my accident with the old one.

Re: Kabu

They were the norm back then. Glad nothing happened to you with it.

You gave your mother a lot of excitement that day.

You were an inquisitive little rascal. A good job it was not a saugage making machine.

I did that very thing when I was 3 or 4 years old, but Mom was

standing right there and stopped it, got me out before damage was done.  Lucky you didn't have permanent effects, and we can thank your lucky stars kids are so flexible.  Being less dangerous is only one reason I like the modern washer-dryer method, aside from the convenience.

Mother had one of those as long as i can remeber back until after i was married and had a new modern small twin tub machine. Not automatic but a big step forward to Mother's Golden oldie. but no mishaps like you endured.
