We have 2 radio stations in our area that play Christmas music. They used to start thanksgiving day but this year they started the week of thanksgiving. They play songs for several decades.

However, the wheels of commerce can't run over fairness to the middle class. It arose in the Industrial Revolution. I'm afraid that the world we knew all came in at the same time from the mid 19th century until the mid 70s sir.

I think it's healthy if it's cumulative; remembering, while acknowledging the present.

For me, it is more enjoying the wonderful memories of earlier times.  I really wouldn't want to go back, but I love remembering.

Yes, I do feel that longing for earlier times is a facotr in celebrating Christmas. Many people find themselves especially pining for those who are no longer here.
