sexual harassment..
Thing is, the more conservative a place is, the more sexual harrasment is tolerated. It's the "good ole boys" syndrome. It is all in fun. The car business upper echelons tend to be conservative so lip service is paid to this widespread problem due to the nature of lawsuits, not so much in trying to protect or defend against sexual harassment. Yes, the Hollywood scandal seems to be in a liberal bastion but I am talking about my immediate surroundings, of which I have personal experience, than I am about those surroundings I don't know...so I may be wrong in saying it's more conservative but I also look at the politics of things and the laws being enacted against women's rights and the current scandals at Fox news and O'Reilly. That Weinstein character just looks like a perv..but then so do I..lol. I don't know. I guess it is a widespread problem regardless of politics and has to do more with power than politics!

Yes, they do. Any time an organization or industry faces sex scandal it cannot help but dim the mood.

I don't know about MGM, but I sure hope the perps, pervs, and molesters are flushed out of "the business." It's far beyond time.
