Sometimes the book feels rather disappointing if one sees a film first. Well I think so.

Of course some favorites stand out on their own.

British productions are, to me, outstanding in general.

Yes, it was the best for capturing the spirit of Jane Austen's writing.

I like the films made in the UK, simply because the actors in them are

not "stars" or picked because of perfect dimensions and proportions, but real people who fit the role, believable and relatable.

Colin Firth was just so handsome in this series but for me, all each and every character was very well selceted and the production was for me the best other than the book.
