One reason I like the idea of driverless cars that can get one
safely here and there is the independence they would give older people, or those with failing eyesight, who could again pick up and go whenever they want without inconveniencing family or friends. How nice to be able to run to the store or make a doctor's appointment and nobody else has to rearrange their schedule.

I still have a lot of touble with the driverless card. You have made excellent points for using one but I wonder about unforseen happenings. Those big rigs are tough to drive, without a driver would they be more dangerous.
