I'm floored

Great! He telling her to follow her heart, she agrees but as your you beautifully say she doesn't. But in reality, she does listen. He turns away and doesn't look back. If he did, he would have known that she is following his heart. Because, by giving her heart to him, she was actually following hers. The irony of it all. I would rate this as a poem written with great verve. Kudos!
