a great read
I did enjoy it. Took me back to Summers in Australia. This year they were seriously announcing a heat wave when the temperatures might hit to nearly 90 F. That isn't a heat wave, days that stay 104-106 F and more in the direct sun that is a heat wave.

Very nice and so true...
Oh, I can imagine how hot it is there. But pretty. I could feel the dryness just reading your poem. I had also written one to post today about the heat because of our heat here. Over 100.

In those conditions I would pray for a gentle female rain
to soothe the dusty day and a fresh evening with just a touch of cool.
