Re: Naut

Yeah, wish I could change it! Hmm, guess I could! lol. But it is what it is, for now. Thank you. I'll work on that.

RP

Quite impressive! But the ending appears to leave only one choice...

Re: Aba Bro

Aba, dear bro, I just coudn't write the last word. In fact, the last line could have gone several ways. Glad you liked the opposites playing. Many thanks. Many, many thanks.

Dear sis, Presta

Wow, sis ... so superbly done and I liked your keeping the last word blank, though the meaning is crystal clear. The play of th opposite are my faves, however. Good job, Kudos!

Re: JessieE - and this ain't the first time I noticed that! LOL.

Whoa! This is really unusual! Yes, I had noticed and even wondered if you have read some that I had posted a while ago. Thank you for sharing; it's spoken from the heart, through your pain came the creativity, and it's really quite a good poem. There are several of yours of which I have my versions that are similar either in title, thought, content or a mix of some or all, written over a number of years also. Intense emotion triggers the spark of the write, I think. I may post or repost some that are similar, to me anyway.

Uhh, for me it would be a he... LOL!

fantastic..just wanna share this with you. It was, again,

one of the first things I wrote! I find it fascinating that there are similarities! This was written in the full throes of brokenhearted rejection..lol

>>>>>ECHO (a rewrite)<<<<<
Echoes upon echoes,
Your voice runs barefoot through my mind,
Leading me on,
A desperate rebuke of my imagination. ...
Memory runs away with me,
Searching, seeking, ever reeling with the echoes of a fantasy.
You are
An echo from the past, a memory..
A song whose words I'll not forget, a
Love long over whose tune haunts me yet.
Outside, inside,
In the moon, in the sun,
Forever the same, always one..
You don't change!
A face that paints a smile on my face.
Your love is...was,
Just an imagination of echoes.

Re: Re: C_C_T

No its not bad RP.  I quite liked it really because it was warm and loving. We are what fate has made us and you must not think what I say is always what I think really. Well anything that does not seem friendly.

Re: C_C_T

Well, that's okay. It's that bad, eh? Thank you then for reading and commenting. It's only a poem, done as free-writing, not a declaration of misery. LOL! It is relevant to any and all of us. There is a story behind it, of which I was reminded lately when I heard someone say that we are all terminal [at some point].

Re: FSI

Thanks, FSI. It's just a little poem that popped into my mind.

I don't know what to say only most would love to be close to the warmth.

The dream can be so wonderful yet so difficult. Hopefully, the focus on the good can outweigh the bad.
