wow that sounds amazing!   I have never fried a banana though I've had fried plantains in Spanish restaurants, this sounds better!  Do you have wild blueberries like they have in Maine?  Those are my favorite.  I'm coming over for dessert next time!  :)

I like the fried bananas, but also think they're a lot of trouble.

I like them in a Ninja smoothie with frozen blueberries - and when they're not a healthy smoothie with carrots spinach etc., I like a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the mix. Or just sliced in a bowl with a bit of heavy cream.

Goodness Naut I always usually sometimes often have two bananas for breakfast. Arthur always says I peel them the wrong way as monkeys do it from the bottom. I know they are a bit bland but the very thought of washing a frying pan would deter me from your tasty repast.

Naut

Yum. You certainly dressed up the boring banana in some finery! (I find them boring also.) I've never fried a banana but you made it sound very appealing, especially with the touch of bourbon! One could have considered adding, after the blueberries, shredded coconut and chopped walnuts, then whipped cream, and drizzled the entire plate with a bit of chocolate ganache or syrup...labor intensive though.
