I messed it up with the first lesson by phone conversation from CA to MO. I had my land-line phone at one ear and the iphone at the other, which left no hand/fingers to working the thing. I think I touched something I shouldn't have and it went to a place I couldn't get out of and then the white envelope completely disappeared from the home page and the rest won't do anything. My BP went up and I got a headache and said I couldn't do anymore right then. Then I was going to take it to my Sis who has one just like it and see if she could straighten it out. But, during the night she took herself to the ER because of gallbladder pain and they admitted her and she has been pretty sick. So the iphone is on hold. Tomorrow or the next day I have to figure out how two drivers can get three cars back home when she is discharged.

I haven't had one before. I've never had even a cell phone that I have used. But, I am very fortunate to have many family members who are pro at it. I just need to get with someone and let them teach me.

If it is any consolation to you, right now I feel like flushing mine down the toilet. Got it all hooked up, programed and everything else, wasted hours trying to figure it out, and now decided I don't even want the thing. I went out and bought myself a new paperback to read--about murder and mahem and political life.

wouldn't mind the energy and youth to add on and resurrect that old homestead. I hate my I phone with a passion and hardly use it really. I still keep it hidden under a cushion or left in the bottom of my Tote bag...and it is costing me a fortune.

I'm still trying to show my 77 year old aunt how to use hers. lol She's very stubborn though so I think that's why it is taking longer. Good luck with your phone!

Good luck with it. Maybe getting a "cheat sheet" from them with what to push for what function will ease your mind and make it an easier transition. That's beautiful picture you posted.
