I feel there are better ways to make things better and I have felt the protest was misplaced... that was right up until our president opened his mouth. As I commented to Taps, I feel that I would stand, but if my friend was kneeling, I may kneel alongside them or put an arm over them... as their pain does not affect my pride.

I watch the game for fun and spirit! I do not watch for political BS! I watch to get away from that! lol
Also, if I made a protest at my job I would get fired for sure! As soon as that uniform and helmet are on, they are working. They are getting paid to represent their team, sponsers, and so on. Their AMERICAN team!
Not only that, but their AMERICAN fans are paying their paychecks!
The National Anthem and the Flag have been around a lot longer than Trump. RESPECT IT and HONOR it!
I'm sure Besty Ross is rolling in her grave right now.
