I used to like sci fi films of aliens leaving pod people behind
and the cliche "take me to your leader" thing. In a writing class we studied "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" where Richard Dreyfuss played a grownup who had retained his childlike ways of looking at life. But I'm less hopeful now that there's some advanced highly technical planet in another galaxy that's going to bring enlightenment to this contentious planet. Thanks for the reminder.

I appreciate the aliens. This beautiful little planet that we call home is such a sad place and it is all our own fault...we humans that is.
