So sad it is what happened in Mexico. It seems like it is one thing after the other with all of these disasters...I am impressed at how you are able to keep track of all of your family members.

I held my breath ustil I read that he thoughtfully contacted every one on social media. It is why I stay on FB actually. he wrote a very wonderful piece actually and yes I remember him working towards his goal and making it.

With social media beyond the one the message was sent within, he never thought that we would share his experience on Blogit. And yet, it's natural for a Great-aunt to both feel presentiment and relief  enought to post it. `Here's where the King James comes in handy for a Psalm of thanksgiving, and faith of others  to work practicallly, sharing your relief. Thank God. Have a blessed day.

Only once felt a little one it was like a bomb dropped near. So I can imagine the terror folk feel when nowhere is safe. Good news Miles is OK. You don't need shocks.

I'm glad your nephew is okay. 7.1 is a big one, and the aftershocks

can be scary, too. I'm always a bit worried that any western quake is just a precursor - and the big one along the west coast fault lines - is getting ready to let go. I should bite my tongue.

I am so glad Miles is okay but so many aren't. Earthquakes are frightening to me. I've been in quite a few, including one in the grocery store. Once I had just gotten into my car and it was in the 'Park' position, but was rolling and rocking side to side. The worst for me was as a child, my first one. There were aftershocks all night long, and it did traumatize me somewhat. But then, who'd be normal to like earthquakes? LOL!

I'm so glad your Great-nephew Miles is okay, but I really feel for those poor people in Mexico City! I have never experienced an earthquake, and hope I never will...
