Yes, lost and then found in an unexpected way is always amazing. The first time I experienced that I was just a little child. My daddy bought me a very pretty ring for my birthday when I was five. Because my birthstone in it was very shiny in the sunlight, the chickens always pecked at it. I found that fascinating so I would take it off and hold it in front of them One pecked too well one day and swallowed it. I was afraid to tell anyone. Months later, when mother was cleaning a chicken to prepare for Sunday dinner, she was shocked to find my ring in the gizzard of the chicken. I still have it in its velvet box.

Yes, I have lost a piece of jewelry once. It turned up in a different house after we moved.
