I agree with everyone ,I think that is probably too tolerant. Well except cruelty and any other form of pursuit with a blatant disregard for the resulting outcome.

It seems to me that everything, in its own time, comes full circle, repeatedly.  Nothing stays the same, but it comes back, eventually to be processed again.  But, it is important for one to know where they are, and where they are going, in their thinking, at any given time.

Re:

I agree with Kabu here.  We spend so much time focusing on minorities and religion.  Are we diverse enough yet?  Tolerant enough yet?  But what about women?  Women make up over 50% of the usa... but having a female in power is still less common than a minority.  Women are diminished to maybe 80% (if lucky) of the voice, pay, and respect compared to men.  And yet everyone knows we're smarter...

This does a great job explaining the Western Left's position on tolerance.

I can't multitask anymore, and you had me already started on AI...so delving into this subject will wait a bit. Except, I'm pretty sure I'll agree with Kabu. If anything is going to fix the problem, it will have to be the women who do it. And now back to Habs vs Bruins......

Nautikos

I agree with you (and Plato and Popper, I imagine) on freedom, tolerance and intolerance. There's a fine line these days among them, it seems.

women. it is time once more for women to stand together amd our men with us to stamp out at the very beginning that we see of intolerance towards equality that is rearing its head ...just quietly here and there.

I feel that if women allow themselves yet again to become something less than we are, the results then run riot throughout a society. Everything and everyone who is different to the dominant male gender in a society becomes somewhat less than perfection therefore not quite equal.
