Charming photo Taps, the doggy is lucky. Always upsets somewhere at least when one is young it does not seem so real.

Re: Naut
That is so good. And that is why I stay home a lot and try to avoid the news on TV and internet.

Rain and doggies - two things that help soothe our hearts. Big hug to you, TAPS.

I can fully understand how your family tragedy and the tragedy in Forida and beyond makes you feel the world is out of kilter...In this corner it's been quiet; we're having our 'normal', gorgeous southern Ontario September, and only when I look out do I see the current troubles and coming disasters...

Re: Hell of a time for you and your family.
Well, we did get that kind of rain last night afterall. Somewhere in the middle of the night, long rolling, booming thuner went on and on, but the rain was gentle.

Hell of a time for you and your family.
Dull normal would be a wonderful breather. And a soft, gentle Seattle style rain.

Oh that is so wonderful that Mattthew's fiance is caring for this dog. Wonderful therapy for her, and just a win win all around. The picture made my eyes tear up. Again, my condolences to all.
