If you can look after it, by all means - buy a horse! Next to dogs, they're the animals most perceptive of our moods, and they understand us...

depression is a hidious disorder and just about everyone has a melt down into the void at least once in their life.  I think a vacation somewhere you have never been would be grand. just take a flight somewhere with  view and walking trails where you can think things through in the quiet. Just a few days would probably help. sending hugs.

Actually I  do  now feel a bit mean I guess I did not read your blog carefully , I am sorry that you feel so awful, perhaps writing it out might alleviate the suffering, hopefully.

OoPs sorry I was only joking I know how horrible it is to feel depressed, I once thought I'll sit in the Church for comfort, but the door was locked it did not help..

Firstly buy a field and then build a stable, order a ton of hay and a little pony to keep your horse company. I take it you will not need a saddle.

I feel that with time, we can and often do gain a different perspective. There are times in my life when I look back and say, "That particular era was not bad," and others where I think, "Wow, that really was not as good as I thought it was.

For me, rock bottom with depression is in the rearview mirror, and I do not look back any differently at that.

It's a difficult place to be. Do you have aunts or uncles or cousins who know you well and might have constructive ideas for you? Sometimes answers come from places where and when one least expects to find them. I hope you can find the direction that is best for you. How do you know the shoes don't fit anymore? Maybe they do?
