Oh, great post! Mistakes are lessons learned at a very high premium sometimes. Wish I knew then... Hopefully, they are building blocks to promoting learning, growning, and gaining of depth. National disasters; a time for all to care for each other, I think.

there are mistakes to learn from and then there are mistakes that hurt other family members and that is hard to live with

If you're not making mistakes, you are not living right. It is only through trial and error that one becomes the best they can be. But, I'm not going to write about mine. They are over and done and I'm trudging onward.
