I am quite familiar with the circumstances of the Titanic's sinking, and I can assure you - had the damage been less extensive and had they been able to seal it off the ship could have continued on her voyage!

Which is my point: Unless you have indeed been damaged too heavily under the water line, you should be able to sail on quite well...

Your post is so interesting. First, to me, though the Titanic sunk, it was really the people on board who mattered most. For the survivors, their journey was not over; after their ordeal they found they had changed ships, but continued on. Sure, it was a different journey, but not the end. Everything in life is a risk, calculated or not. And, one does not have to relinquish total control of one's life in order to share it or care about someone, imho. In fact, that wouldn't be healthy. You got this, as Shelly said!

Re: shellyb

lol thanks... but to fall in love means you must release control... that's the whole point.

You got this!  You are a strong woman!  Go for the ride but make sure YOU are always in control!

In life, one of the greatest difficulties is figuring out what path we should take. I myself am willing to take a few risks in order to grow. It seems like that is how growth occurs.
