You have the most splendid garden!  Quite as lovely as Kabu's only yours has hedgehogs where hers has gnomes.

Re: Kabu

Glad our boy is better. Rather a relief. Yes we have worked it as we are short of land and the flower sales are quite high. Of course the silly old begger is going on holiday in a fortnight so I shall just give the stuff away or knock the flower heads off with a sickle it seems reckless but if they go to seed that is the finish. I think there will be loads of beans for the neighbours though.

Re: CCT

Yes as I said Naut if only it lay further back from the road. The walls are stone with a cavity between no expense spared when one is sitting on a stone quarry. Yes I keep getting tender looks to hand some beans over.

Re: Pat

Well fortunately the houses were built before the real squeeze for land occurred Pat.

The rain does work wonders.

Re:RP

Thank you RP. the problem is most stone buildings are near to the road. I suppose the horse and cart did not pass so frequently. I was a bit ashamed of the front as it was rather unkempt, but we have got it under control now apart from passing folk who like to stop and chat.

There is a lot of lush greenery there...One cannot feel anything but happiness after reading about two souls becoming one.

The stone house is so lovely, in start contrast to the tract homes. I think the garden is beautiful. Just beautiful, as is your poem.

Your locale is even nicer than I imagined. My mother always had an

English style garden, all kinds of things blooming and fruiting.  Lovely!

CCT

I like the cottage on the left much better than the houses across the street! It's far more substantial and enduring than those houses...And I really like your veggie garden with those impressive green beens...
