I like to get a couple of fresh-baked donuts from Safeways sometimes when I'm shopping there.  They've save me a few times when my blood sugar was running low.

My sons family in Wagga love krispy cream donuts and they weren't avaliable to them so I used to pick them up from the airport and carry them down on the plane. as sis lots of passengers.

Good thing Dad didn't get involved with them. I remeber Kirspy Kreme being all the rage. I didn't see the big deal, as they were very sweet. A couple or three times a year I will have a doughnut. They built a Dunkin here and I didin't care for it. Too doughy. I remember Winchells, and they were okay, but all in all I'm not a huge doughnut fan.

I like yummies but they are really only dough nuts rolled into lengths . Also no jam in them. Dad was lucky.

I've never had a Krispy Kreme donut - as a matter of fact, I haven't had any donuts in a long time! They're not on my list of 'really edible food', LOL...
