we have talked it through and of course night time I will come with you. Even if you drive I can be your eyes.

Remember being in a fog Bro, the eyes are not so good for night driving when one is a mature person. The roads are not like they used to be. We used to draw into the kerb and let lorries pass by in the old days.

I've gotten lost while driving a time or two, and you're right, it is

scary.  Sometimes I forget to just take a deep breath and pause instead of getting myself in deeper and deeper. Glad you beat the anxiety and got home before Kabu decided to send out the Mounties...

I'm sorry this is happening to you.  It must be so scary and frustrating.  Try not to get down about it.  We all have our own limitiations -- it's not always about age.  Now might be a good time to consider how to adapt while still feeling like you have some freedom?   Is Uber in the area?   Or a buddy that can pick you up?

I'm glad you are home and safe now.  I definitely do not drive at night anymore as my night vision leaves much to be desired.  Plus, if it should happen to also rain because the glare of the headlights on wet pavement completely freaks me out.

WielyJohn

Blogit was down for making comments until just now. I'm just glad you made it home okay, Wiley. I can imagine how frightening and unsettling your ordeal was. You don't need that stress on your heart. Hope you have a great day tomorrow.
