I really should be taking photos of the flowers, but it has been so hot after weeks of not so warm days. Glad you have got the carpet sorted, I need a new stair carpet, I keep putting it of, have to see the old quack tomorrow. Arthur said tell him you feel tired after lunch. Yes I replied he will say' so do I ,but I have to listen to silly buggers like you. '

Kabu maam

I am always fascinated when you describe your garden and the serene and peaceful ambience that you have around your house, the jungles with butterflies and bears and what not.

Not many butterflies here at all. Glad you have your carpet down, and some yard time to enjoy. It sounds so idyllic there, dear S. Sister.

Here too the Monarchs are more plentiful than last year - a good sign. In a few days I'll be going down to Darlington Provincial Park to take a look - it's one of their main staging areas before they had south across the Lake...

So glad to hear you've got pollinators buzzing around.

I expect your monarch will join up soon with the others and migrate to Mexico. One year when we were picnicing at Marquette State Park on the Mississippi River north of here, a flock of hundreds of southbound butterflies came through. Everybody just stood there with their mouths open in wonder.
