I believe I do understand this one.Thank you. 

Thinking about giving your last meal away, living in the country as a kid, no one ever left the farm hungry Mother always fed anyone who came mostly workmen on a project, the least, she could get some to have was a cup of tea. But sometimes it was a meal and she would perhaps whisper to my sister and me...for you rwo it's bread and scrape and duck under the table....which meant to us not enough to go around so make ourselves scarce with a bite of bread and dripping.
