Several times Thanks, RPresta! I will take a look and see which of my photos has a vote!

I tried to vote for you. Don't know if it functioned or not though. I love your pix.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Ciel

I'll vote for you then. I misread. To me, August 7 at 11:59 p.m. meant tonight at 11:59 p.m.. I should have read the next sentence... :)

Re: Re: Re: Ciel

I think submissions have ended for the photo contest... voting should be open now, though.

Re: Re: Ciel

I can just imagine. I'm sorry for your pain. Our pets are family. I'm editing the poem a bit.

Also, would it be okay with you if I entered a picture in the contest? I was thinking of the Dove of Peace cloud formation.

Re: RPresta

Tears were flowing all while writing this one, everything surfacing and 'now' again.

I look forward to seeing your poem!

Re: Corbin Dallas,

I am so sorry for your loss. We never forget though the pain is diluted by life going on. We lost our Davy Dog a few months ago very suddenly, and my voice still breaks when I talk about it.

This poem is so touching. Very beautifully told, Ciel. We still feel the ache from our family pet members who have departed. Thank you. I will post one poem I'd already written about a pet who is gone, though it's not as beautifully written as yours. :)

Just so beautiful, and so true.

Well said. And it's so true.

Pets are so much more than that.

Whoa......you brought tears to my eyes.....I lost my little Mama,  Bianca last Thursday, a maltese that was Joe Love's little girl, she was 13.

It's a beautiful poem.......thank you for sharing.
