Rain

Rain is needed at times, but pouring is never needed.

Uh oh. That means we in Maryland are probably going to get nailed with that, too.

Re: Kabu

Yesterday was gorgeous--blue sky, bright sunshine, and a temperature to be desired.  Weather changes quickly around here.  Right now we are at a pause in the rain, but the worst is yet to come.

Re: Naut

My view in every direction is pretty much trees.  But I can hear the water.  When full, the lake pours into a stream and runs through the woods on the west side, and on the south side the water flows down the hill into a stream that, from there, flows into the stream on the west.  On the north are the two lakes.  One flows into the other and the water from that one flows under a walking bridge and down to the stream.  Views like the picture happen nearby, and one who has lived here long knows which way not to go during a downpour.

Oh boy! It's a tellling shot - is that the view from your window? Because of the lay of the land where we live I don't think we'll ever experience flooding like that, but not too many miles from here they've had similar scenes this summer...
