Any of your "old" poems are always welcome.  If I remember them from before, I like reading them again.  Usually I don't remember anyway.

My mother loved green-gage plums.  The jam/preserves was so good on buttered biscuits.  She worked hard to keep us in plum and peach preserves and pear honey, blackberry jam and gooseberry jam.

Re: C_C_T

Yes, take care of yourself. I don't understand what you mean in that last sentence. :)

Re: RPresta

I try to take it easy RP. One thing one has to in the darker days. I hope your problem is less painful, the penalty of youth.

Re: Pat

I saw a Robin swallow one he had to gulp, gulp, the legs refused to follow,. gulp at last they slid down .  I think that was lunch and supper. You could of course filled the pond with soil and had a bog garden. The herons take the carp if they are small in the garden ponds around here,

Arthur is a perfectionist adnohr, but he cooks a good lunch so I tolerate him.

Before you know it, the inspiration will strike again, and you'll find that the poetry flows.

Arthur seems to be a good-hearted sort. It takes 2 to make a smile?

I've seen a few froggies in the areas around the fishpond that has

become only the frog kingdom after the hard winter two years ago. During my debate with myself over whether to drain and fill it in, or get the pump and filter replaced, I haven't bothered to restock the thing with carp. The froggies are the size of a thumbnail - and probably would be lunch for a robin.

Be careful not to work too hard in the garden. Interesting poem. Seems like a mixture of reality and dreams. Pleasant.
