I loved Italy... was only in Florence, Rome, and the Amalfi coastline for a day each, and it wasn't nearly enough... I could easily get lost in the art, the scenery and the food.  I need to go back.  :)

Well it sounds wonderful although. Never mind the past is the past. He who has not sinned must cast the first stone.Art is something that appeals or shrivels in the mind. That picture touched where others were thoughts that could not connnect.

Italy is on the list of countries for me to visit. I would love to see The Coloseum. The stories that stadium could tell...

I have gotten to know several Italian families over time, and have

always wished to be Italian. I love their humor, their passion for life, all the art and beauty you mentioned here, and the food! I so enjoyed reading your post today.

I never made it beyond Milano - lack of time! And I too love Italy, which is why I am, very concerned about her now, as I am about all of Europe! Italy too is slowly disintegrating into chaos...
