I hope that when the day comes for me to pass on that I am sound asleep.

I know that Elvis died on the toilet. That was kept quiet for a number of years, but the media, particularly the tabloids, always have a way of finding out.

I don't blame you! Much better with the pie or in one's sleep...

I am not sure how I want to die but I guess that is already decided

Re: Naut

I didn't know that, but I did search it out after your comment.  Brave New World was my only Huxley book to read and I've never been fond of dystopian novels so I went on to other authors.

I know what you mean, Taps. Pumpkin pie is a great idea...

I think it would be a silly way to die, but think of the humiliation if you just passed out and the EMT's found you that way... Ohhh, my.

That's also the ending of the protagonist in Huxley's After Many a Summer Dies the Swan...

Well, what's the difference? Sweet memories nonetheless. Have a blessed day love.

I sort of hope that I can go to sleep one night but who knows...My Dad died on a train on the way to his brother's funeral. My Grandchildren say tell me about the ancestor who died on the train Nan. The first time I ever heard it said it shook me somewhat. Ancestor...this was my Dad.
